Riordan bowls amazing 279

Hill Bowling’s Pat Riordan, a Junior, bowled one of the great games in the annals of the team’s short history, notching a 279 at Westgate Lanes Thursday Night.  Knocking down 11 of 12 strikes, Riordan left only the 10 pin in the sixth frame en route to his magical score.  In three games for the evening, he finished with a 714 series and averaged an eye-popping 238 for the night. “It was the high game ever bowled by a Stonehill bowler,” said an excited Coach Ray Fischer after,” If we can make these kinds of scores this weekend we have a great shot at winning the tournament.”

The team travels to Wappinger Falls, NY this weekend to participate in the Westchester Classic on Sunday, Februaury 5th.
