Fressex, Can You Dig It Win In Close Divisional Matchups

In Monday’s Indoor Volleyball games, Hit Faced took on Fressex.  The first game was in control by Fressex from the start, with Katie Bernazzani and Pat Kelleher tallying 12 kills in the game.  The first game finished 25-14.  In the second game, Hit Faced regrouped and went back and forth in scoring with Fressex.  John Machado and Megan Walsh teamed up well to put their team back into the match.  Hit Faced won the second game 25-23.  In the third game, Fressex found their best form when they needed it.  Fressex’s, Billy Rust and Grace Walkowicz, served especially well in the game and sent Hit Faced home with a 16-5 final game win. 
                In the second game of the night, all-women’s teams, Bologna! took on Can You Dig It.  This game also featured some great serving and collaboration from both teams.  Can You Dig It got off to a quick 6-1 start with Christine Conway tallying two opening game aces.  Bologna! was never quite able to regroup from the early deficit as they lost the first game by a score of 25-15. 
                The next game saw Bologna! rely on players Nikki Remillard and Julia Trombley for their defensive skill, as they finished the game with 12 digs combined.  Despite the added defense, however, Can You Dig It were still just a bit stronger and pulled out the 25-21 victory.
