Hugels late marker propels Dare to Dream Team to 4-4 tie with Wallabees in Indoor Soccer action
Captain Stephen Hugel scored the second of his two goals with 90 seconds remaining, to forge a 4-4 tie Tuesday night in IM Sports Indoor Soccer action. Wallabee's, captained by senior Ryan Hess jumped out to a 1-0 lead early off of a goal by fellow senior Ben Irzyk. A theme for the game would ensue as each time the Wallabee's took the lead, Dare to Dream team would answer back, as freshman John Hope would tie the game up moments later with a shot from outside the box. Irzyk would restore the one goal cushion at the half, but once again Hope would answer, this time early in the second half to make the score 2-2. Hess would put his team back on top midway through the second stanza, but the see saw battle would ensue as Hugel quickly responded for a 3-3 tie. Four minutes from time, Hess would apparently notch the game winner, only to be denied a chance at victory once again by Hugel's heroics.
