Cheerleading recieves bid to 2011 nationals in Daytona, Florida.

The 17 members of the Stonehill Cheerleading squad attended NCA/NCA College Cheerleading Camp held at Boston University the beginning of August. The camp was a 3 day intense workout camp of learning new partner stunts, pyramids, tosses, cheers, chants and a dance. Some other local teams that attended camp were Assumption College, Bentley College, Bridgewater State, Curry College and Framingham State College just to name a few. With over 600 cheerleaders in attendance, the team from the Hill would impress mightily, taking home the spirit stick on the first night. On the second night the team was evaluated on their Spirit Routine (Game Day) and took home a Superior Ribbon, while on the final day they competed in the Rally Routine Competition and took home 2nd place in their division and also 2 more Superior Ribbons. Their impressive performances, earned them the biggest success of the camp, as they received their bid to the NCA/NDA Collegiate Championship held in Daytona, FL April 6-10, 2011.

Come see them perform at the 1st home football game on September 10th where they will perform both routines for the fans.
