Joga Bonita takes over 1st place with rout of Angry Steam

Captain Mike Bridges and his Joga Bonita team vaulted themselves into 1st place in the Men's West Division of Indoor Soccer Tuesday night in convincing fashion, with an 8-0 shellacking of Angry Steam.  Led by Bridges, who scored a hatrick on the night, Joga Bonita now stand at 3-0 and all alone atop the West standings.  Jumping out early and often with goals by Bridges and Pat brady, who also connected for a hatrick, the game was never in doubt from the first whistle.  Leading 5-0 at the half, the team would coast through the second half as Stephen Day and Fernando Tomayo would also add single scores.  In goal, Adrian Bonvento would record a shut-out for the team that has allowed only one goal in its first three games.
