As with any sport or athletic competition, participation and commitment will be key for Rec Sports newest club, the Men's and Women's Bowling Teams.  Begun in the fall of 2008, they look to carry on the strong Stonehill Sport Club athletic tradition.
This year's team hopes to demonstrate these qualities in an effort to bring additional pride and success to both the Sport Club Program and to Stonehill College.

Practice Facilities & Tournaments

The team will practice and host home tournaments at Westgate Lanes in nearby Brockton, as well as participate in regional tournaments.

Bowler's Finish 6th at Oberlin Tournament in Ohio

On Saturday, April 10th, the Stonehill bowlers had an excellent showing at the prestigious Oberlin Tournament in Ohio. With a high score of 182 on the day, the team ended just shy of 2200, which was good enough for a 6th place finish, missing out on fifth by a mere twenty pins.  "We set a tournament record for the farthest traveling team in the tournament's 12 year history," joked Head Coach Dave Golden, "It was a great day, the kids had a lot of fun and it was very exciting for them."
